Really meta can’t figure out are we humans or not with this massive of data they collect?
That part really pisses me off. Asking for any kind of identity verification is just them gas lighting their users.
I mean, they kind of did. It’s called Windows Subsystem for Linux, and it can run Linux programs on Windows, for anyone willing to coax it into working.
It’s not awful, but it cannot even do graphical programs yet. Wine is a decade or two ahead of it.
Edit: I would have bet it was proprietary, but it is MIT License. https://github.com/microsoft/WSL
I would play that ROM hack.
They probably didn’t know how to market it. Barely any purple zappy lights or spandex or or flames or blowout fight scenes.
Wild. I would expect a TV adaptation of Wonder man would have plenty of purple zappy lights and spandex and fight scenes.
I imagine that expensive jet fuel could eventually restrict visits to private islands.
76% is a passing grade, where I come from.
Edit: And yes, being in that 23% can really hurt. But with the current state of the average organizations defense in depth and responsible disclosure, I would have expected a worse stat.
They made a season of Wonderman?! Disney needs to up their game - particularly on DVD trailers, which are the only ads I still see.
Amazon spent around 20 billion dollars cornering every conceivable market, and then successfully made all that money and more back by becoming the default online store for a huge number of people.
Investors want to recreate that unprecedented return on their investment.
But since Amazon already sells every real worthwhile product… remaining untapped markets included only new products of questionable worth.
Of the available new questionable products, AI is a really interesting one.
Now these investors have spent over $200 billion. And they have promised all that money back and much more.
Getting their investment back is important enough to these powerful influential investors that whether you or I actually want or need AI does not matter, to them.
These investors will strong arm everyone they have influence over until either they make their money back or they go broke.
That’s the wrap on XBox, I suspect.
Boss says it’s time to enshittify.
“there are many many more of us than you”
Perfect choice of chant. Let’s scare these dumb fucks back into their holes before they do something so stupid that we can’t let them retreat from it.
They clearly don’t give a shit whether their servers stay up, though.
This has been a weird year where the cultists decided that don’t need to keep normies around to steer their servers farms.
Your point would stand if any of those companies had recently shown a shred of evidence that they’re capable of planning further into the future than next quarter. :(
Nah. There’s a nice big fat block button for this discussion.
We can just let people be themselves.
Hiding divisive bias in science language isn’t new, and it isn’t bringing value.
It think we can all relate to having pre-wedding jitters about how our spouse will feel when they finds out we are secretly just a pile of magically animated mud and sticks.
Wayfinder is very playable solo.
You’ll still probably only like it if you liked World of Warcarft, I imagine. It’s a clear (and very nice) tribute.
This place is going to start booming when creators figure out that our algorithm shows everything they share with everyone who chooses to follow them, every time.
I think we struck on something really unusually not-coded-by-total-assholes, here.
Failing to acknowledge Hot Ones really says it all. The gimmick is still silly, but Sean may well be the greatest living interviewer.
She’s been on screen in previous episodes and was planning to be in this one, maybe just not in such a major way.
I noticed that too. That was a clever way to make sure she felt screen-ready and to catch her reaction on film.
I know they have a timeout thing where anyone can call a timeout for any reason if they’re uncomfortable etc.
Nice!
I think/hooe her nervous persona was played up for the bit
Yes. I think she definitely played it up for the bit. DropOut is lucky to have behind the scenes talent who are able to step up as performers!
Yes. It was funny, and it felt like a clever acknowledgement of how hard their crew work.
But I really hope DropOut has some kind of process for getting prior consent before surprising someone with a major role on camera.
Considering other evidence, I would guess they do? Hiring an intimacy consultant for an on-screen gag, and Brennan asking for consent to interact before a wrestling gag on VIP makes me assume they do get some level of consent from each production cast members first.
Older evidence against would include the rough ending of Total Forgiveness - arguably a failure in their consent processes. But it’s a good sign that the newest evidence is in the right direction.
(Edit: I hope they address it in the behind the scenes next week.)

This made me laugh. Thanks.
