I can’t say I agree with your opinion. I’ve been using proton for years, and I never once thought they were a nonprofit. However, the quality of the video still gets an upload from me!
From the Mashable article: “Proton VPN is run by Proton AG, a Swiss tech company owned by the nonprofit Proton Foundation. “
So they’re not actually saying proton is a nonprofit, but that they are owned by a nonprofit. The Article
