What the fuck?
It’s about 10 feet from where I sleep to where I work. I love my commute.
What kind of dumbass builds a data center in the middle east?
He’s already done that though.
I mean…. fuck….
That looks really good, definitely gonna check it out. Some of my favorites:
Grave of Fireflies
Blue Eye Samurai
Book of Kells (lots of fantasy/mythology in this one, but lots of history too)
Persepolis
The Apothecary Diaries
But we broke.
Also, Wall Street.
Yeah, now factor in what percentage of those homes are actually owned by the bank.
The republican protection team sure hopes so.
Nah, we broke.
To put that into perspective, it took the US nearly FOUR YEARS to rack up that many casualties in Afghanistan. The people running the military are incompetent as fuck.
It wasn’t by any means the start of the decline of democracy in the USA, but it certainly accelerated quite a bit after that.
Elliot Ness of Al Capone fame was on the case for quite some time. The Michael Bendis graphic novel is a good read.
The streaming services argument is a good one, but don’t use a server in your basement to backup data. As they say, “if you have two copies of something, you have one copy of it.” Reliable backups need multi-site redundancy.
Do not fall into the trap of anthropomorphising Larry Ellison. You need to think of Larry Ellison the way you think of a lawnmower. You don’t anthropomorphize your lawnmower, the lawnmower just mows the lawn, you stick your hand in there and it’ll chop it off, the end. You don’t think ’oh, the lawnmower hates me’ – lawnmower doesn’t give a shit about you, lawnmower can’t hate you. Don’t anthropomorphize the lawnmower. Don’t fall into that trap about Oracle.

It’s just an excuse in an attempt to placate the judges. They don’t really believe that.

Only if you have coin.
