The hardest part of a habit isn't doing it.
It’s starting.
You tell yourself you’ll work out for an hour.
Read 50 pages.
Meditate for 30 minutes.
Then you look at the size of the task and decide you’ll do it tomorrow instead.
Lately I’ve been trying a different approach.
Instead of asking myself to do a lot, I ask myself to just begin.
One page.
Five push-ups.
Five minutes of reading.
Two minutes of journaling.
Most of the time, once I’ve started, I keep going.
And if I don’t?
That’s still a win.
A small action today beats a perfect plan that never happens.
Progress isn’t built by huge bursts of motivation.
It’s built by showing up, over and over again.
What’s one habit you’ve been putting off because it feels too big?
