Especially if you’re watching from an ICE detention cell
That’s just a couple of ICE agents kicking in the head of the guy in the dog crate next to you.
Just imagine how much money you could save by not caring about grown men playing a children’s game
While I’m completely disinterested in football, and I do think the craze is often more than a bit much, this is just overly reductionist. Does everything one cares about and finds fun/interesting necessarily need to have intrinsic value? I’d say no.
No it doesn’t, nor did I suggest otherwise. Only that it incurs expense like any hobby, and that any meaning a person finds in it is imbued, not inherent
Not obsessing over millionaires who don’t give a fuck about you, playing a children’s game for their billionaire owners who really don’t give a fuck about you.
Why? So you can forget that both of these demographics exploit you and the entire system on the daily? Maybe it’s better not to forget.

Also don’t forget your card getting skimmed on the first day.
What is the group stage? I know nothing about football (soccer), other that a yellow card means your in trouble and a red one means your out, oh and I guess you can’t touch the ball with hour hands. Actually I don’t know much about any sport ball.
There are two stages in the world cups: the group and the elimination stage. In the group stage, the teams are divided up into smaller groups of four teams, and they all play each other in a round robin format. The two best teams from each group then advance to the elimination stage, where two teams play each other in multiple rounds with the winner advancing to the next round.
