Yeah, I understand, it would be ALOT to record.

I can’t stand these USBC cords and now these USBC flash drives are a thing. They end up being a 2-n-1 or you gotta buy ANOTHER adapter for the USBC or whatever needs to be attach to it in order to work. Its just more money for extra work. 😮‍💨😑😑😑

The instance I’m in is definitely the odd ones out, we got no one here😅

Finally came over to Lemmy and found this place when the news of age vertificarion started spreading around, along with the annoying pop us of signing it to view the sight. Plus I got tired of how dead and full of bots it was, what makes Reddit think I would want to come back?? 😑

I remember having an actual CD player when my parents used to buy all our music; went from that to the iPod touch (before it being lost forever). After that my first streaming service I used was Pandora and I used them for years until now when going fully degoogled. (App kept completely crashing after I got off of Google). Well thats one problem with streaming, another is the storage, subscriptions, annoying ads and some only work online (unless you pay for a subscription).

Here comes the laziness and convience, 😅 Its just easier to pop it up over the phone.

I removed a couple of apps by debloating.

Switching my launcher from Bliss Launcher to Yagni Launcher.

Showed which mobile carrier I’m using.

But mostly, its just aesthetic changes.

What’s it called that your trying to send?. I have a degoogled android device and its not gonna pop up for me.

Wdym?? That’s like over 5000+ songs on the dang app. That’s a lot of storage for a freaking music app.

Ive barely touched it. I’m trying that first with Jellyfin to see how I can handle it 🤣

Trebel music is an app for streaming music with very limited ads. You can also put your music form your MP3 player on there as well. It’s not open source software and most of its features come from paying a subscription if wanting to truly go offline, but you can’t download the music to your phone when doing so.

With trebel music, I would have to pay for a monthly subscription to truly download to listen to all of that music. I might as well just buy the albums and put in in a SD card. I think I’m just getting tired of streaminf, the ads that comes with it and the amount of space it consumes.

I actually did when I was using the phone. It works with MicroG, but limited without google services.

This phone already came pre-installed with e/OS when I brought it from Muerna. I didnt want to going though the complications of finding the right phone to install the software.

Oh I will absolutely. I’m gonna put all of it in a final post of everything I’ve done, including debloating the phone. I decided to give it a try and use Canta and Shizuku. There are some system stuff you can get rid of to improve functionality.

I’ve used a couple of their apps as well. Phone on my end was pretty good too, everything for them worked fine except for their launcher. It sucks and its very laggy.

For texting I did look up something call Right Messages, which gives you the UI of Apple’s messaging app. Thinking of trying it out.
