Cream of tartar is a type of acid, and is usually used in baking as along with baking soda as a leavener. Baking powder is generally just baking soda and cream of tartar mixed together, but some recipes call for adding them separately in different ratio then you would find in baking powder.

Thanks for posting the reference, it was new to me.

Many early Nazi’s were also paradoxically Zionist. They believed that the best way to get rid of the Jewish people was to just send them all somewhere else, and a Jewish state would be an easy place to convince them to go.

Nowhere that I’ve been, no, but the little POS tablets that small shops and vendors have all ask for a tip by default.

The new season is animated by a totally different company, and the first episode looks great (aside from the OP).

That being said, I spent years reading all the light novels, totally worth it. The series is longer than The Wheel of Time by word count, but is so fucking cozy.

Sub food is good, except when the E2 cooking your meal serves up medium rare chicken.

Was not a nuclear explosion, sure, reactors can’t really explode in the same way as bombs, but it absolutely was a meltdown. Meltdown really just means that the fuel melted, which did happen shortly after the power peak flashed the coolant to steam and blew open the core.
