Gonna go on a bit of a tangent.
While technically correct, this is one or the many hypocrisies of the United States. The ability to silence others is a grotesque one. And while the government on paper is prohibited from exercising such a power, that power is still abundant in the form of private companies that weild power equal to nation states. If the United States truly valued freedom of speech, the same would apply to private companies.
That is cool as fuck. Nice job
I worked as a tester for an embedded system, and there was a whole team of us. Our work was handed out in these big 3cm thick packets of testing sheets, with tables and graphs and instructions on how to test the system to make sure the code was safe for production.
A coworker was evidently not wanting to do his work one day, and “finished” a packet the same day it was handed to him. Now a single page of those tests could easily take you a half hour, assuming the arcane instructions were even clear to you.
He “quit” before the next day.
Tbh I accidentally downvote posts here on there with my fat thumbs on mobile. May not be malicious.
Shit like this is exactly why I take a burner phone on international trips. Fuck you, you aren’t getting my shit.
None of my friends really seem to get it though and always question it.
We can always celebrate the anniversary at ye old public bathroom
This reminds me or a minor, mostly friendly argument I had with my cousin one time about religion being a net negative for humanity.
Shit like this is why it’s a net negative.
Looks like I spoke too soon, my bad.
I must have gotten studies that looked at height confused with weight.
For the occupants, any pedestrian hit by an EV will generally be in worse condition than if they were hit by an ICE vehicle.
While this is ultimately good, the benefit can’t be applied so broadly as “the breakthrough that makes EVs safer than ICE cars”.
Edit: /u/inclementimmigrant had it right, not me
The solution as always is to reduce car dependence.
EXCITE EXCITE EXCITE
Mine puked today :(
I absolutely loved scavengers reign, and I’m really hoping for some more content like it.
