Some of my favourites I haven’t seen mentioned:
- Dungeons of Dredmor
- Orcs Must Die 2
- Serious Sam: Classics Revolution
- Lunistice
This was a really cool read. It’s just missing one detail: is the protocol named after the delicious hazelnut spread… and if so, why?
A miserable little pile of in-jokes
Including Google’s.
I remember having a pirate copy of A Bug’s Life on VHS, which started with a menu. I wasn’t old enough at the time to realise it was taped from a DVD
A worse time? Home computers thrived, the arcades were packed, bedroom programming was on the rise, the Famicom was released… Other than Atari betting too big on E.T., the industry was in a healthy position.
FOMO, mainly.
Deleting cookies on close? I had my Firefox set up to do that about 20 years ago
Counterpoint: babies will chomp anything within an inch of their faces. Given enough time the idiot might just get gummed to death
These sound very similar to the problems I have with ACNH
There might be a new expansion coming. (I say “might” because I don’t think there’s any info on it, other than a vague teaser site: https://dredmor.com/ )
My understanding is they’re supposed to be green, although ten minutes of web searches didn’t turn up any specific reason for this. If it is, it’s part of either BS 8599 or the HSE standard, and it’s far too early in the day to be reading through standards documents just to prove a point!
(Edit: I realise this is from a UK standpoint… may have misread “NUS” in the OP as “NHS")

Huh. I’m almost certain I’ve done Bannerbomb on 4.3 systems before, and in fairly recent memory too.
Bannerbomb has been around for years and has never needed a game
Kind of relieved to see I wasn’t the only one who did this!
As someone who would admit to their identity being shaped by video games: I also play the Sims a lot, which (in the eyes of your typical gamer bro) isn’t a real game
It wasn’t that bad if you like fighting the same silver enemies using the same three silver guns within the same silver environments

Not your art, not your canvas.
I watch that
