Technically, Fandom is MediaWiki, just used for its evil aims.
Since Trek is nearing a big lull in activity in the next year or two, I think that might be the optimal time to start up a Memory Alpha fork.
He’s using the magic he knows. He’s believing.

Honestly, I wouldn’t be mad if we got a The Magicks of Megas-tu prequel even if it breaks a bunch of canon and they use a convenient memory wipe to solve all the problems, mostly because it would involve TAS getting any canon recognition whatsoever.

Looking For New Moderators (or "Operators" to "Stand By")
I’m taking a bit of a break from Lemmy, so I’m probably not going to be around much for moderation.
Heads Up: Taking a Break For A While
Hey. I just wanted to say I’ve been and will continue to be taking a break from this instance and Lemmy for a while.

Which song did you buy the Istanbul (Not Constantinople) EP for?
Also, hi. It’s been a while. I usually neglect this community, as I’m more active on TMBW Discord, but I like to post something every once in a while in case a BG fan stumbles onto Lemmy.

I’ve been on a bit of a button-making kick, and here’s my latest one.
How did Nog go from not literally being able to read to outranking Harry Kim?
EDIT: Accidentally duplicated post. Please see https://startrek.website/post/25896181 for all responses.
[Old Post] How did Nog go from not literally being able to read to outranking Harry Kim?

Got a copy of S-E-X-X-Y recently
Someone was selling a bit from their collection off the TMBW Discord. I’d been wanting “We’ve Got a World That Swings” and “Sensurround” for quite some time, so I snapped it. It came with the hype sticker, so I took a scan of it. It was a bit beat up, so after some post-processing, I intend to upload it to the wiki along with the inner box art, which the wiki is missing.
How do you guys protect your FLP case singles?
I recently got a rather pristine copy of They Might Be Giants’ 1996 single S-E-X-X-Y, mostly for a few bonus tracks unavailable on streaming. Like, it was in shrink wrap with hype sticker, albeit shrink wrap on its last legs - good enough that the rest of it was still in near mint condition, but too damaged for it to be worth keeping on, so I took a 2400 DPI scan of the hype sticker and removed it. Don’t worry - I kept the hype sticker.
How was T'Ana able to recognize the era of Earth by smell (or did she)?
In LD S3 E8 “Crisis Point: Paradoxus”, the holographic version of Dr. T’Ana was able to recognize they were in late 20th century Earth, seemingly by a single sniff.
