Yo, dawg, I heard you like names!

And then they started using formerly personal names as titles. Caesar and Flavius being the most known examples.

Maybe they got tired of having 15 different neighbours with the same name.

I can’t tell you the names of a single neighbor I have now.

It would be so nice to just assume Titus or Lucien and be reasonably right.
