It's Saturday 08/01/2026. Hey, What's Going On!

We’re taking some time alone today, because we’re going on family vacation to beach all next week! Yay! I have to clean and pack today though. ;_;

Tore a muscle in my shoulder. Have to work out how to get the lawn mowed. Can’t sleep, can’t make food, can’t sit comfortably, everything hurts. FML.

i met 3 new people in 3 different bars in the last 3 days. i was so exhausted yesterday, i slept the whole night and most of the following day, now i just woke up. looking forward to going out again soon :)

Enjoying a weekend day of summer - not too hot, just normal hot. Got up early for home butchering, going to cook some tasty stew and make bread later. There’s a giant great good feeling of relief that my kid has found a place to learn/work. I really hope he enjoys the learning years and time abroad, and I loved how picky he was to find the right place. He was excited to show me around his new place on video call and it’s all green and peaceful and quiet! And I can now fully embrace the crone life, yay to just schmorping around.
