So… not to rain on anyone’s parade… But grain entrapment is a real thing and can be extremely dangerous. Have a link! https://farmher.com/sinking-in-corn-5-ways-to-stay-safe-when-handling-grain/

True story! This is only 2ft deep. But don’t jump in otherwise.

Here is your first lesson.

Was that meant for this post, by any chance?

How dare you insinuate that I made an error! The nerve!

(Yes.)

Wtf? Was that some New Orleans dialect of French or an island or south of france or something and just an old man?

Sounded so southern yet French

Rural Quebec

Ça s’explique

There’s French everywhere today!

So glad the corn is still going

1 - I too am addicted to corn, I was exposed to it at too young an age. 2 - had a cousin die in a hopper long ago. Big family, but was still rough for everyone.

Like your cousin, way to bury the lead.

What the hell happened?

(Scold me if me joke was in bad taste)

Unless you’re talking about putting old tire balancing weights into holes and covering them up, that’s a buried lede.

I was thinking much the same thing. Have an upvote.

There is enough scolding on the internet. Enjoy yourself, and your free speech while you have both.

Ah yes, brother, the maize rises.

Corn piles are more fun than hay piles

They are oddly satisfying. Like bin of pebbles at souvenir shops.

I didn’t see beans until I was already a man, by then it was nothing to me but gassy.

Fiber is my jam!

Lol

A recent quote by someone in my city:

“I was born on the cob. That’s why I’m so corny”
