what are the reversed roles?

The Moose is driving the car and the human, probably a hunter, is tied to the fender.

passenger guy is having some deep thoughts

if it was a horse driving the car, it may have worked as we still talk about “horsepower” for cars.

But with a moose, which were—if i’m not mistaken—never used to draft, there is no reversal. Moose never had that role. Engines replaced horses, not moose.

Hunters tie their kills to their vehicles for transport, as shown in this strip, including moose. Here the moose is driving the car with a human tied to it, implying the moose reversed the roles, and hunted the human.

i see, thanks. i see now :)
