The "Tags" field in Mbin

When creating a new Mbin thread, there is a field called Tags.

What is it for?

On Stack Exchange sites (a proprietary platform that I no longer use), typing a few characters into the tags field uses string or stem matching to guess which tag you might be typing, and shows how many times that tag has already been used on the site. This is good UI/UX, letting users pick the same tags as each other for the same topics.

But Mbin’s Tags field doesn’t do that.

Is it for hashtags?

The field is for hashtags. If you’re fine with them appearing in the text you can also ignore the field and just add the hashtags in your text
