So there is nothing they can do. She has to carry it until it inevitably dies, even though she has been bleeding so much that it has caused her to go on FMLA only 9 weeks into pregnancy.
Jfc the risk of sepsis alone. So many women will die from this kind of shit, never mind the emotional black hole of losing your child. My mom did before me and she was never the same, people tell me.
Imagine if we had broad spectrum aptitude tests, and could use them as part of vetting people for roles, to make sure they have the intelligence and wisdom and all other aptitudes in all the right ways for that role.

That truly horrible. My objection is only to someone else putting the words in the woman’s mouth. If the person had said probably, instead of unquestionably it wouldn’t have bothered me. It reeks of trying to steal someone else’s trauma. She doesn’t know if it truly was the worst ting to ever happen to her and if it wasn’t that’s really fucked up on multiple levels.
