People who refused to give the food back because DoorDash driver made a mistake

Huh, when I worked in restaurants we had to dispose of food delivered to the wrong table if we didn’t catch it before thirty seconds or so due to health and sanitary concerns. Food was wasted when the driver dropped it at the wrong place, so I would hesitate to call it outright theft.

Unfortunate but it shouldn’t be dropped at one house, left unsupervised, and then recovered to go to the original destination as that could create a whole lot of liability for the restaurant and the delivery service.
