I’m old too, how did you get this far without the crutch of irony?
Oh I use plenty of irony. I just use it very obviously. “You’ll know 🤡🙃🤪” when I use it. Also highly contextual. Sometimes I won’t need to use formatting or emoji, the context and knowing me will be enough.
