What is this reading mode you speak of
StillAliveIt’s on Firefox. I’m using Android version in following screenshots.
It is a page rendering mode showing only the text (sometimes the photos), it is also called distraction free mode. Most often you’ll have an icon in the address bar that looks like a sheet of paper with lines of text. Click or keep pressing, and page will change.
Note: it does not always work, but often enough you can read all the content without any dickovers.
For me, i click on the 3 ellipses top right, choose Chrome, then when it loads on Chrome, click on the 3 ellipses upper right and choose reading mode. It works on most sites and makes it actually possible to read the article.

In a field of 8 million Zombie films the idea was “Hey! Let’s make a Zombie film!”.
This short film, Nightborne, is a proof of concept for photorealistic videogame cut-scene-level acting.
I’m the rare proponent of AI-derived art if the tech side of things could be separated from the employment aspect. I also love District 9 (and ~like one or two of Blomkamp’s short films). However, this is trash. It really questions his abilities as a director if he can’t coax convincing portrayals from his instruments of choice.
AI art will never be a thing in the US so it will only develop in other countries and indie studios. Given Blomkamp’s past comfort with cutting edge movie tech, it’s apparently not ready to compete with the real thing even at the most basic levels yet.
Honestly, without knowing this was AI, I’d just have assumed this was some B-movie with bad actors and editing. Yeah there’s probably stuff you can catch in the background that will give it away, but nothing that really stands out to me. It’s obviously not on par with big Hollywood releases, but it’s interesting how far the technology has come already.
