Spider distribution.

There's a bear in a forest, looking at a spider on a tree stump that it's trapped under a glass. The bear slides a piece of paper under the glass and carries the spider out of the woods. The duo cross train tracks, enter suburbia, and select a house. The view point of the comic changes, you're inside and within your line of sight is both the front door and the back of your partners head. The door opens and the bear releases the spider into your house, briefly makes eye contact and leaves, with the door clicking shut behind them and the spider scuttling towards you. It's probably funnier if you can see it but I tried my best.

One time I let my dog in and she had a big spider on her back. Didn’t notice, didn’t care. I thought, huh… so that’s how they keep getting in here. They ride in on the dog.

I like the un-threatening nature of those rubber hose looking legs.

Onward, valiant steed! To the promised land!

Why does the door have a mail slot on the outside only?

Could be a name plate. My parents have one.

What’s it say?

Just the family name.

Also the window…

Probably so the artist doesn’t need to draw them close up and in different perspectives. Didn’t even notice it the first time around, so they nearly got away with it too. :D

by can't point to earth on a map depth: 2

Decorative mail slot for nostalgia purposes.

seriously: they come with the wind. wind-based transport can go a looong way.
