This is too close to reality to be satire

The line between reality and satire is often thin.

But not quite as thin as the system requirements needed to run Linux /s

Welcome to the whole comedy of this guy. You cry, you feel it and it hurts.

“now my machine run games” 🔥 🔥🔥 📢 📢 📢

This is very close to how I act towards my dad whenever he complains about his Windows 11 updates and performance.

I put my dad on Mint years ago. No more complaints!

Hah, mine too. Astonishingly little support needed since, we stopped talking

This is what I want to be if only I don’t have social anxiety.

*heavy breathing on the bus* “Linus Torvalds

“What?”

“Actually it’s “who.” So way back when..”

I love his videos. They are so accurate.

400MB idle? He needs to debloat his system man

This is hilarious!

I feel personally attacked for some reasons

Guy just trying to get his chess puzzles in

Truth hurts.

I run arch btw

Its like the famous saying…

  • How do you know someone runs arch?

  • Because they will tell you about it.

I wish my computer runs 400mb idle. Unfortunately it doesn’t. Too many tabs and shit open

Then that’s not idle

So like only essential tasks open?

Idle would be with nothing open

TBH my system doesn’t even that little on idle, and I’m using LXQt. I don’t think it was that low even when I was running just a window manager on a real machine (i.e. with audio, wifi etc. running). I’d probably have to use Void or Alpine to get there. But w/e, I got my laptop 16GB RAM last year, which is about the only hardware stat it has that’s actually decent lol

That’s really only downside of using Linux. You have to keep doing jogging everyday. Otherwise you can’t keep up with the uninitiated speed.

This is me. Problem is that every person I encounter is like “Wow, I did not know windows does all these bad things… Anyways”

Satire is someone making annoyingly good points, annoyingly? Ok

This is meant to be a caricature of a Linux evangelist, not a 100% accurate portrayal of a Linux evangelist

it’s good satire because there are valid points thrown in, but also some completely irrelevant ones

"now my machine runs games!"
~wheezes in linux~

Myaaah!!

It’s so perfect. Like a nerdier version of the guy who ties women to train tracks.
