Just remember, when people decry political violence, that political violence is how we got this shit started and how we’ve kept it going. It’s WAY too late to try and claim the moral high ground now.
Fuck this would’ve been the best day to take the country back! On its semiquincentennial birthday!

By the way, “US-American” is a Germanism ✌️👆
(there’s no 3-finger emoji to reference the movie scene)

I wish all Americans a “happy you got conned by your elite class into helping them avoid the consequences of defrauding British banks for years day”.
Wait I’m unfamiliar with this?
A very common scam by the upper and elite classes was roughly:
Some of the “intolerable acts” were designed to prevent this from being possible. One of the biggest ones would be the “stamp act” that would provide the british banks a paper trail to track exactly who purchased deeds and other things for the fake companies.
This is explicitly why the initial riots in Boston and New York were completely faked. This is also why the Adams brothers(signers of the dec of independence) forced their newspapers to run fake letters and articles astroturfing support for a revolution.
Maybe this? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jay_Treaty
I recall a meme saying “Happy Treason Day”.
I’d normally sarcastically ask how that independence is working out for you, but Britain is pretty much just as fucked right now.
