Progressives very much have a say in whether the DNC centrists get elected or not. Did you notice that our support comes with real strings now? We have wised up to the idea that the centrists dont give a crap about anyone or anything but the donors. an unpopular opinion perhaps: out of all Dem presidents on memory Biden did the most in terms of progressive agenda and by extension so did Harris. But that duo never went full-in on progressive values or anything else, really, so they have mainly half-assed it. So I have no compelling reason to believe that they were progressive as much as they are anti-progressive. Her reaching out to Mamdani could be interpreted as a genuine reach out trying to escape typical DNC tether. Fact is her lackluster performance last time does indicate she’s a poor “performer” thus a poor choice to win against raging republicanz.
