Laughing at yourself as an individual, yes. Laughing at yourself as a person that belongs to a group like nationality, race, sexual orientation, no. Nobody should have to care about whether they fit someone elseās negative stereotype just because of their assumed nationality, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity.

while i agree, we arenāt quite in an ideal world yet. so we do have to worry about fitting their stereotypes.
