Supreme Court strikes down limits on party spending in federal elections, backing Republican appeal
The Supreme Court on Tuesday erased limits on how much political parties can spend in coordination with candidates for Congress and president, striking down a federal election law that is more than 50 years old.
Prodded by a Republican-led lawsuit that includes Vice President JD Vance, the court’s conservative justices were again in the majority of the latest decision that upended congressionally enacted limits on raising and spending money to influence elections. The court’s 2010 Citizens United decision opened the door to unlimited independent spending in federal elections.

America is dead. It is the fiefdom of billionaires.
They look delicious.
And they will continue to look delicious forever because we have no teeth, no wings, and they live in a palace 1000ft in the sky.
If you don’t have teeth you can buy them, they’re cheap. They don’t live in the sky, they have street addresses just like anyone else. If you really believe this needs to be done then quit making it out to be more difficult than it is and just go do it.
I’m not Elon Musk, I can’t buy a revolution. One person doesn’t have the “teeth” necessary to actually do what the “eat the rich” people are talking about.
Just turn elections into auctions and be done with it.
I see NO Conflicts of Interest between ALLOWING Political Spending and the MASSIVE Vacations Gifts and Cash RAINING down on the Justices!
Fuck these fucking fuckers. Corrupt down to the last one of them. I hope they enjoy the heat when this country starts to burn.
Also wanna remind them that when the apocalypse happens due to them letting these fascist fucks do whatever they want, that they are going to be worthless. All their greed and ass-kissing and possessions won’t matter dick. And everyone knows during an apocalypse, the worthless are the first to go.
What in the Kentucky fried fuck are these assholes thinking!?

This was the more important decision. Birthright Citizenship is getting much of the coverage, but realistically the powers that be need to ensure that they can continue to buy elections as the cost of such things rises.
Agreed. They probably released this one on the same day as so many others including a more headline friendly one on purpose to minimize public outcry.
