This isn’t actually real, right?

I’ll bet you five big Tex tokens it is!

I’ve only saved up 2 doubloons. ☹️

Im right on the border between doubloons and peso coins and it can be so annoying

I have lived in several different stars and have never heard of the majority of these terms. For reference (I know Texas is big) I lived in Houston TX, MS, NH, UT, and CA.

Edit: Stars = States

I have lived in several different stars

This guy travels the universe!

I live in one of these areas. It’s definitely real

Definitely call it change in Ohio, rest must be right.

maybe in 1892

This map doesn’t make a lot of cents

No. Only the U.S. government is allowed to do that.

I cant believe I had to pay 5 coinage for a cup of coffee yesterday!

Kansas is a linguistic battleground.

They’re the same size as other peso coins so why call them Big Tex Tokens?

Everything’s bigger in Texas

I wonder if they’re overcompensating for something

I lived in the north east and Texas and have never heard anyone calling money either of those things (pence and Big Tex whatever-the-fucks).

Who knew Pauly Shore had such a big influence on the greater PNW?

Nobody calls change “coinage” anywhere.

I can tell you’re not from the northwest

I’ve literally never heard anybody call it that and I’ve been to almost all of those purple states.

I bet you’re one of those foreigners coming out here and ordering beer with your big tex tokens

I’ve never been to the northwestern US, and I also never heard the term coinage. Therefore it must be accurate.

Can confirm about texas

Wait, people outside of Texas don’t also call them Big Tex Tokens?

They’re missing “jiggle change”
