Ukrainian drones set another Russian oil refinery ablaze as Putin admits fuel shortages

The people that matter aren’t the common Russians, they’re the leaders. And the leaders, as always, have plenty of opportunity to make sure that they can eat even if the people are starving. While it is possible for people to bring down the government, it is very difficult. Remember the government has all the guns and they have plenty of opportunity to protect themselves. While Russia does have elections, they are not fair elections. So we know already that Putin will win the next round.
