Well, that's kind of... concerning... (Midori Browser FAQ)

submitted by
A text-only screenshot of part of the webpage https://astian.org/midori-browser/ showing a FAQ section with a duplicated question, "Does Midori enhance privacy?"

Seeing that duplicated question kinda makes me trust them less, like this was AI-gen or a surprisingly careless mistake…

Why did you have any trust in Midori to begin with? Last time I checked, Midori was just a blatant copy/paste of another opensource browser.

Was the “another” one any good?

The “another” is the Firefox based browser *Floorp* on which Midori is based on since 2023. (source)

Oh, so the base is actually a useful one!

Hehe, nice source.

I never had any trust. I just saw it recommended and checked it out.

I remember it from https://web.archive.org/web/20180611084610/https://www.midori-browser.org/ when I ran it on my Intel Atom single-core (with hyper-threading!)
