Well, I don’t know about latex, but you could probably make a halfway-decent oil-based paint with clay.

Not sure which oils you should use, but I’m willing to bet there’s quite a few that would be fairly compatible.

There is this whole paint carry-on, when some noob tried to legally restrict a paint colour. Resulted in others responding with an ’open source’ black paint being released. (3rd paragraph)

Didn’t the person who developed the “pinkest pink” allow everyone to use it… except for the guy who tried to restrict vantablack, as a reciprocal !fuckyouinparticular@lemmy.world?

Has kiddie sound effects, just mute to skip them if needed.

OH. There is a program called LazPaint that is pretty decent, I forgot I installed it along with the other software when setting up this distro. https://lazpaint.github.io/
