@thelinuxexperiment Unless I'm mistaken, systemd-appd is one of the incremental improvements that will precede Flatpak Next. Regarding Flatpak Next, a very important point is rarely discussed: the abandonment of D-Bus in favor of Varlink, which systemd has begun to adopt alongside D-Bus.
