PressProgress’ Luke LeBrun brings us the deep dive into the Centurion Project’s app, modelled closely after an American app known as 10xVotes. As it turns out, 10xVotes is the creation of an American company, known as Voteatron, with ties to the US Republican Party. While the funding of Voteatron and the 10xVotes app is uncertain, these products and entities appear to be tied to the Dark Money and Dark Pattern systems that the Americans have built up over the years.

Do want to point out there was a post about how poor of a journalist this guy is and his crap show on Global News. Then subsequently it seems like there has been a giant uptick of Global News posts many which are either just very superficial article or just straight up wire feed repost.

“We were shocked to learn that Professor Tucker was recently abruptly removed from this teaching assignment and are deeply concerned that the decision for the removal relates largely to his advocacy for more learning and discussion about Palestine and Israel. We are aware that the university is being lobbied intensely to silence discussion of what is happening in Gaza, and we strongly suspect that the decision regarding Professor Tucker is linked to his activities in this regard.”

There’s a big protest being organized across Canada to protest SOGI being taught in schools, and I’m fed up with it. There are so many vulnerable students who need to know that what they’re experiencing is normal, and right-wing extremists are politicizing human rights and spreading manufactured controversy about children being shown pornography in schools.

This is a complete rejection of reality and a slap in the face to survivors of the genocidal residential schools system.
