Lydian Collective er et fusion-jazz band jeg har fulgt i nogen tid. De er kendt for at benytte en del underlige taktarter. Jeg synes det er utroligt svært at lytte sig frem til taktarten på de fleste af deres numre. De formår dog altid at få det til at lyde lækkert alligevel, synes jeg. De har udgivet denne nye single “Decimal”, som jeg allerede er blevet ret glad for.

This video has some fantastic demonstrations of how sewing machines work. If you’re mechanically inclined then it’s definitely worth a watch. The mechanisms that grab, twist, and pull the thread are wonderfully clever and elegant.

This film explores the defining aspects of Greek Theatre. The theatre of Ancient Greece flourished between 550 BC and 220 BC. A festival honouring the god Dionysus was held in Athens, out of which three dramatic genres emerged: tragedy, comedy and the satyr play.

I signed up for a Rally class with my only local Obedience Club, and was instantly put off by the attitudes and snooty behavior of the club members, so I never went back. I’m now doing an online course, which has a lot of good training tips, but so far hasn’t discussed anything about the Rally signs and what they mean. I found this video series on the topic, and it seems to be on point for somebody in a situation where they’re training at home like me. Thought I’d share this good source of info!

This is Percy running in Barn Hunt Open A class in February 2023. Percy came up with a creative solution to this run by picking up the rat’s scent from inside the tunnel and burrowing his way through to find the rat on top of the tunnel.
