Hyundai Motor is expanding its hydrogen business across the value chain through a partnership with Korea South-East Power, solar complexes in Saemangeum, and a 930 billion won Ulsan fuel cell plant.

South Gyeongsang Province will deploy a total of 469 hydrogen electric vehicles this year to promote energy-saving culture. The province added 14 units to its original target of 455 hydrogen passenger cars. Purchase subsidies stand at 33.1 million won for passenger cars, 300 million won for city buses, and 360 million won for intercity buses.
