It feels like that’s their goal. Considering what their parent company is doing, it’s decided even higher up.
Xbox is about to be gone.
Don’t worry – they’ll offer renting or rent-to-own options soon.
Only without the “To Own” part. Perpetual rent, zero ownership. Cable TV model. “Here’s your subscription box, pay us $99 a month forever.”
Doubt it
I canceled my GamePass subscription and sold my Series X a few months ago and I don’t miss it. There’s a couple of games that were exclusives that I miss but it’s not the end of the world.
