Every time I watch this episode, my heart aches. It bothers me that the show tries to justify creating Michael. I feel so terribly sorry for him. If the expedition at least did a good job in lying to him, covering up his roots properly. But having him feel betrayed, alone, alienated, dehumanized - which is indeed a thing since they gave him humanity - is horrible. 😥💔
