Fauci being a saint of thick skin for putting up with nonsense attacks by Republicans looking for someone to blame for thier bungling the response to covid, and still focusing on saving as many lives as possible no matter their political affiliation.

Serious question.

How do the MAGats spin Fauci?

If Fauci was so terrible, doesn’t that make Trump an idiot for keeping him in place for the entire pandemic?

They’d spin it as Fauci was so bad at his job that the orange pedo was the only one brave enough to call him out on it.

Despite Fauci being recognized and awarded by like the last 2 decades worth of administrations

Four decades.

He was one of the most frequently cited scientists across all scientific journals from 1983-2002 and has served as an advisor to every president since Reagan.

Im sure it falls under “good tsar, bad boyars”. And no of course it doesnt make sense in today’s technology and information age to argue that somehow the leader doesnt know what their subordinates are doing. But if they would argue faithfully they wouldn’t be “conservatives”.

I think your questions are flawed because you’re working under the assumption that consistency and reason are relevant for these people to form an opinion.

It doesn’t matter their beliefs are contradictory and they don’t need to spin anything, they just think whatever Fox news / Trump tells them to think.

This is probably a flawed analogy, but to me it’s a little like watching a movie like Supergirl and arguing whether the giant explosion was an authentic detonation or CGI. I know what I saw wasn’t an actual spaceship vaporizing, but I am fascinated by the details.
