Donald Trump has laid the groundwork to become one of the wealthiest people on the planet by personally making money from every dollar printed in the United States. And the worse the economy gets, the more money he stands to make. The House has already passed three crypto bills that would make this potential a reality by allowing the Trump family to control the global stablecoin market. Now it’s up to the Senate. It’s a wild story that the media won’t report on because they don’t get it. But some very powerful people have figured it out and now the race is on to stop Trump from becoming the shadow central banker to the world.
Legal loophole because they aren’t supposed to make money on any of this. It’s pegged stablecoins, they’ll cash out to dollars, yuan, dinar, etc… Literally the next day.
But as long as it can be converted to legal tender, it still counts. Some folks get paid partially in stock, after all, and it works for them.
Yes, but stocks hold value as being a form of ownership in a company.

The UFC said some fighters will receive bonuses in World Liberty Financial crypto called “stablecoins”, whose value is pegged to the US dollar. World Liberty named the currency “USD1”.
It says the crypto is being used for bonuses. That suggests they are also getting other pay, hopefully with actual money.
“This sounds like advertising,” Todd Phillips, an expert in crypto at the Klaros Group, told the Guardian. He said “Paying the fighters in the USD1 stablecoin would have the same economic function as writing them a check but announcing to the world they are doing it in USD1 sounds like they are adverting to the world that USD1 is out there and that it is connected to the UFC and the White House.
Hopefully? I hope everyone involved in this down to the stage hands get robbed blind and lose everything. Fuck everyone involved.
I hope they aren’t getting paid with our money. Maybe you don’t care how they are paid, but this is ridiculous.

No it’s stable coins. This is a legal loophole because it can’t make money on paper. Everyone involved can cash out to usd, cad, yuan, yen, dinar, btc, etc… Literally the next day no problem.
It’s also serves other cons but everyone getting paid will have dollars to spend and UFC will make a killing off books even if it’s rained out
If you believe a Trump-issued stablecoin is going to be actually honored if you want to cash out, I’ve got a bridge to sell you. Given everything that has happened in the last couple of years, and last couple of decades, do you honestly expect the due diligence to be correct and the books to not be cooked?
Cook away. They’ll cash these coins out no problem. The liquidity comes from elsewhere and serves multiple scams

Getting UFC fighters to unionize on a cause might be an impossible task. They’ve all been complaining about their pay their whole careers but won’t unionize. The one time they did the fighters. just settled for payouts instead of an actual change in the company.
I love the sport and some of the fighters but I hate UFC and how much of a bitch these fighters are to the organization (and trump).

ryannathansYeah they were talking about crypto.com throwing in a million and another company (maybe ram?) Throwing in another 400k for additional bonuses. This was at the press conference a few days ago, maybe the one a month ago too. Standard performance of the night/fight of the night is 50k (recently changed to 100k) so the million extra is on top of that. Everyone is still paid whatever is in their contract in USD as well as whatever initial bonus in USD. I guess the additional million will be split between Topuria and Gaethje based on last night’s post fight presser. I think Gane is also getting a portion of the extra bonus. Every winner got an additional 25k on top of their win bonus (if win bonuses are in their contract) as well according to Dana at the press conference. I watched the majority of the press for this card, as I do with all the cards. I didn’t see that the fucking Trump’s were involved in the crypto aspect. Fucking poisoning everything they touch. So mad this is how many people are being introduced to the sport. Fucking embarrassing.
