Definitely heard of angel beats, but never got around to watching it.
I’d say fire force is pretty popular! I watched the first season but never continued after that. Not sure why but it just didn’t hooked me. Same exact situation with psychopass. Didn’t hate them, just didn’t have the urge to continue. I guess we just have very different tastes (I’m not a fan of bebop or FLCL either).
Titty anime definitely used to be offputting for me tbh. But the older and lonelier I get, the more I can deal with it. So I’ll add them to my watchlist.
It WAS super popular when it came out as well as when it was on Toonami around 2003. I’d consider it mainstream. But lately, aside from the live action hype, it’s overshadowed more than it should be.

I think when ur banned once, ur flagged and it’s easy to get banned again. The very first time I was banned it was because of an argument I had with another user. We ended up calling each other names and were both banned. Ok fair. But from then on, I got banned for inciting violence and for hate speech for such minute comments. Like i would’ve been surprised if they simply deleted my comment, let alone ban me for 7 days. Meanwhile half the other comments are much worse than whatever I said. I dealt with the 7 day reprieves fine until today when I practiced “ban-evasion” which was enough to ban me forever. It’s my fault. Bottom line is I shouldn’t have said Asian male prostitutes were cheap. Smh
We shall see. My problem is that I never said anything bad. I feel like anywhere else, the things I was banned for would be a non-issue. So far though, I like Lemmy. Seems active and fresh… for now

I make $18.50/hour full time. Not including a profit sharing check at the end of the year which, last year, brought it up to an average of roughly $30/hr but it obviously heavily depends on the years’ profits.
Letting the water run when ur not even in the shower is insane. I would have a problem with that. In fact if they were my friend, finding that out about them would be the beginning of a declining friendship.

I did that for a little bit, but i prefer to see my actual expenses at a glance. My savings is just income minus expenses.
Unfortunately the income includes $3K tax return. So I’m really only saving like $190/month. But at the end of the year I get a profit sharing bonus. 100% of that is saved.

Turns out I’m not THAT frugal lol. Some good tips here though. Thankfully I don’t pay for water.
I’m not sure about utility rates changing depending on the time of day where I live. But my showers are only 5 minutes long anyway. And laundry / cooking / dishwashing is almost always done after 7pm anyway. I have 2 roommates so I can’t control what they do though. Unfortunately I do have AC running when I’m at work for my cat. And my roommate insists on heating the house warmer than I’d like. I feel like 65 during the day and 60 at night is fine though.
I don’t shop sales cuz I almost exclusively shop at Aldi (they don’t do sales). But I should still look into stocking up on stuff that freezes well if I ever go anywhere else.

Yep my elementary school teacher’s cat died in the dryer too. Hearing that as a 5 year old, I have always kept in mind cats must stay away from the dryer.

Ah that makes sense. I do love when things get associated like that. That’s how traditions get started sometimes. Eg: watch this show every June lol.
I’m now 5 episodes in and I don’t know WHATS going on lol. Love the uniqueness of it though. The animation is different. The long quiet pauses are different. Super relaxing pace. But not a relaxing premise.
