What was different was that it was all sound for the most part. There was melody involved in the pieces, but it was really all about mood. There’s so much of that in the songs we work on anyway, but to think only about the way the mood was developing was a big difference. The songs tend to start the same way with just the three of us kind of playing and seeing what comes out, but once we had something that we were working on, it was a lot different, and the pieces were all 10 minutes long!

Throb Throb is the debut studio album by American punk rock band Naked Raygun, released on Homestead Records in 1985. It was the first of the band’s releases to feature the musicianship of John Haggerty whose guitar playing distinguished the band’s sound during the 1980s. Quarterstick Records reissued the album in 1999, and added an early version of “Libido” as bonus material, which originally appeared on the Flammable Solid 7”.

The Three E.P.’s is a compilation album of the first three releases by Scottish musical group The Beta Band, comprising the EPs Champion Versions, The Patty Patty Sound and Los Amigos del Beta Bandidos. The album was released on 28 September 1998 in the United Kingdom by Regal and on 26 January 1999 in the United States by Astralwerks. Its cover art includes the main image from each of the EPs.
