Songs of Conquest is a fun little game by a Swedish developer, scratches that Heroes of Might and Magic II itch pretty well. I also enjoyed the fact it’s one large story told from a few perspectives so you get to see the same incidents and their reprecussions from multiple POVs etc.
I’m not a fan of visual novels. Not because I despise them, of course, as this sentiment stems from a lack of seniority in the genre. I am a veteran, though, in deeply emotional stories, so Schrödinger’s Call was definitely up my alley.
