Updating it and bringing it in line with more modern standards has been something the community’s wanted for ages, and later this month we’re finally taking that big first step. Before that, though, we want to give you an opportunity to have a sneak peek at what’s coming and even let you get hands-on with how your character will look when the project formally launches!

Double XP is back after its long hiatus and kicks off today [Apr 30]! In classic fashion, this is a 10-day event where you have 48 hours of Double XP to use at your leisure. The event will end May 10th. You can also pause the timer if you’d like to do other activities that aren’t focused on the XP gains.

We’ve loved seeing everyone dive into the new combat changes! While we’re continuing to monitor the update overall, a few issues have come up today.

Combat has always been a key part of RuneScape, and now it’s getting a full modern makeover. Melee, Ranged, and Magic are being refreshed with cleaner systems, sharper visuals, and a more enjoyable experience for players at every level. Since December, we’ve been running a Beta with you, the players, listening to feedback, rolling out near-weekly updates, and fine-tuning the systems to make sure this update hits just right.

Our focus, more than ever, is making sure every Membership type offers the best value possible in the content and features we deliver for RuneScape.

Looks to become a more straightforward 12 month discount package with some extras like bank spaces and cosmetic remaining.

Mostly interface fixes and roll up of the thieves hotfixes

Haven’t really unlocked them yet, so no idea what to think of this.
