I had no ink flow issues with either while using them with fine and extra fine nibs. One of my pictures shows what happens when both ink get wet and are smeared. And for the Hongdian 1862, I bought it because I loved the look of the coral color and was not disappointed by its looks in person. Initially I was concerned by how much lighter it was than my 516 despite being larger. But as far as I can tell, the barrel and cap are all stainless steel with a coating and the only plastic is the feed and the converter.

I bought a Cetus X kit last October and an Air65 shortly after, since then I have flow about 1K packs and loved every one. Learning to fly smoothly and calmly was a huge challenge in the beginning so I am pretty satisfied with 45m/week of progress. This is the Air65 in my favorite park, though the Cetus X is a pretty good fit there as well.

I haven’t been able to find a news story about this. Saw it posted on Imgur. The company is now asking for a handout for legal fees. These people are despicable. Just doing my part to expose the vile MAGAs.

I recently bought a pair of Primus Flows from ReVivo and I thought I would do a quick review of the process and the shoes.

I am stumped! They aren’t listed in the pattern as French knots, and they don’t appear to be 1/4 or 1/2 stitches like elsewhere in the pattern, they are just sort of… there.

I had wanted cheap black ink to experiment with and found a 40ml bottle of Boake ink for $3.81 and a 48ml bottle of Ostrich ink for $5.15. Since the prices went up right after buying them I am assuming I got a first time buyer’s discount.

I had met a woman working at my local mall’s antique store. When I asked about fountain pens she said that while there weren’t any in the store at the moment she had one gathering dust in her cabinet drawer and that she would bring it the next day. I had thought she was bring it to sell to me but she just gave it to me for free. It was a very pleasant surprise and the pen wound up being a TWSBI Vac700! There was also a store closing sale going on elsewhere and I have quite a few Christmas/Birthday presents. Today was a very lucky day.

Wife calls me “pogi” everyday (Tagalog for “handsome") Didn’t believe her. Meh, she finally scored a white guy, that’s her thing, whatever.

I’m practicing cylinders and keeping a few to trim as a little treat. This one had very thick walls but I didn’t want to tempt fate in trimming them down so I cut in some finger marks. Not sure I will fire it, but it was fun to make!

The potatoes were steamed then sliced and coated with vegan margarine mixed with onion soup mix. My partner had memories of making this before but I’d never heard of it! I wouldn’t call it healthy but it’s very tasty.

We’ve pretty much given up on the garden this year between the Als (ground hogs) and my useless flesh prison, but I still like to wander around. Hope to be back to weeding in a few weeks.

We have a large foyer closet with a barn door in our house. We wanted to be able to maximize utilization of the space and not sacrifice the barn door. We also did not want to go “full custom built-in” through a cabinet maker. So, after some trips to IKEA to see what was available, and no one specific system fit our closet desirably, I decided to HACK something together with my own two hands from a few different systems.

Someone in the area picked a really good name for their boat.

My weeding practice in raised beds is as follows: do a big weeding before planting things, leave things the fuck alone until what you planted is big enough to not injure or mistake for a weed, do another big weeding, try and keep on top of it so it never gets out of control until the planted items take over and wedding isn’t really required, just pull the things that are flowering.

So that they have a wonderful beany treat waiting for them when they wake up 💕
