You're also annoyed by body hair and have to shave?

Spiderman 1 is early in social transition me
Spiderman 2 is cis friend

Not 100% happy woth how it turned out. Wording can be hardbut sharing and talking about it helped me to accept myself better. Sisterhood and solidarity among women is very important.

This is how I feel about my body hair:

body shaved, now have itches and red bumps for few days, then it’s back to shave body again.

wish my skin wasn’t so sensitive cuz it still feels worth doing even if it only feels incredible for like 6 hours

pro tip,

shave in the direction your hair is growing. so, if the hair is /, then shave –>, not <–. And vice versa. don’t press, but glide along. and use a femme razor, if you can! it reduces the itchiness and red bumps a lot.

After shaving put up a gentle cream for sensitive skin, one for hydration without perfumes or any of that shit. that prevents your skin from being irritated overmuch.

also, don’t shave everyday, your skin will become irritated. once a week is fine.

helps a ton!

I know all these, my skin is just very sensitive. Hoping a new treatment will help out, it claims to be formulated for extra sensitive skin and mostly focused on preventing red bumps and ingrowns.

Real, I once evwn bought an epilstor but it’s too painful to get stuff done.

i epilated my legs for a while, but my her grew in worse and worse each time, so i eventually went back to shaving

I just lasered it all off in multiple sessions

painful? yes. pricey? that too. but i now never need to do it again, yay. it hurts less than epilating though, thankfully.

if you want a cheaper (tho not permanent) alternative, there’s waxing. ask for the one with a waxing cream. those tend to be less painful than both epilating and laser. and you generally don’t see the hair return for a while.

or alternatively, get a shaving device, those are like $50 and can last years and shaving doesn’t hurt at all, though it grows back.

I thought laser also was for a while but not permanent

If you do one laser session it’s for a while, yes, but if you do it often enough once every six weeks (hair growth cycle), it’s permanent.

the moustache area, front legs, and groin are the most painful, but the rest is relatively OK.

make sure you get someone who listens to you, when you say ‘stop’ to pause a bit like 20 sec, and who has ice compresses ready to put on your skin.

Nice, thank you

It’s driving me fucking mad. I know this is an issue for cis women too but I’ve never met a cis woman who could match my ass hair.

I’m planning on walking into a laser clinic and going scorched earth but I’m so fucking broke right now and I have to pay for hormones first. If things turn around at work I’m going nuclear on this shit.
