For All Mankind creators reveal "complicated" process of recasting characters for spin-off Star City

I loved the concept of this show. Jump a decade between seasons and explore the advancement of humanities travel in to space during that time.

But somehow, despite the series spreading across decades and decades of time, we still have the same damned characters in every series, and each series instead of being something new, is just rehashing the stuff we’ve already seen.

And even a spin off series, a real chance to show a different perspective without it being about the same damned people yet again, somehow, they’re focusing on the same people…

I loved the first few seasons but this new one is a drag. Maybe the spinoff can recapture some of what the earlier seasons has but I’m not holding my breath.
