What a great article. I want to make my own cardboard cabinet for the upcoming street fighter movie. This gives some great ideas on process.
There are 1 or 2 companies that are going back to screen printing for pinball playfields. The quality is second to none and look identical to factory. Once they add the automotive clearcoat, you now have a playfield that will potentially last up to 60+ years since the original playfields are still in good shape after 30 years, but with much thinner clearcoat or laquer applied.
