Germany’s

Not accurate. It is perhaps a German project, but it is not from the German government or anythibg similar with pulic money.

They are actuually consider themselves international ("Internationale Computerspielesammlung"), allthough depending on the interpretation, it refers to the games being international. They are just a project that happen to be in Germany via a classic eingetragener Verein (e.V.).

But at least the USK and a university are involved, which makes it a bit public.
