This made me dare to dream I could take a train to Broken Hill, but it’s still a 13 hour journey.
Try the drive from Brisbane to the Cape.
Get to Cairns after a full day drive, then you still got another 800 or so kilometres to Weipa and you’re still in the same state. It’s very deflating.
Take some extra sleeping pills. Then you can dream for the full 13 hoursn
