I’m liking the graphics in the game depicted!

So the title is, uh “…T & WINDY”?

Tactics Ogre

Thanks!

For anyone who wants to check it out:

EDIT : Unfortunately it has the usual load of cringeworthy text that can’t be easily skipped, but the concept at least sounds interesting. Someone was obviously paying attention to Ultima IV…

Why do people say “New (to me)” about stuff they just acquired? My friend, it’s your new thing.

I appreciate that, it is my new thing!

But too many online reply “Pfffft! That’s not new, it’s been around for a year!”, so some of us try to head them off.

Forget them. Check it, here’s my new thing. It’s from 1975.

Because “new book” could imply that this copy of the book is new, or that the book was only recently published, or it could mean that this copy, regardless of how recently it was printed, was just acquired by the person and they didn’t know about it’s existence beforehand. “New to me” clarifies that it was the last of these options that was the intended meaning.

@Fwow13 ohh nice! Haven't seen that one

Oh that’s pretty cool

I think that tagline is accurate in that the GBA did play a role in creating a pixel art renaissance. But at the same time I feel like there’s been a “flattening” of the art styles in a lot of pixel art moving from that point on, and sometimes it makes some pixel-based games feel like caricatures of their predecessors.
