Frustrates the hell out of me, these data leaks, because the punishment never fits the crime.
Okay so Meta has a bunch of health data that they shouldn’t. Will they delete it? Prob not. Pay a fine that they won’t miss? Great…
Same with credit bureaus. One year of free credit monitoring doesn’t come close to rectifying the mistake.
That’s a screen and chair problem.
Folks are unwilling to take Meta to the grave.
