There is an official remaster. This is different. It is a community made re-release of the PS1 game, made by decompiling the source code. Its being announced by a speedrunner because its not an official release from the publisher.

Many popular games from the late 90s and early 2000s have had similar community PC ports in recent years.

With an official new Spyro game apparently veing worked on, I sure hope this project doesn’t get hosed.
